This activity offers the chance to learn how to plan a long term campaign if you see something happening in Tropoja that you would like to change. If you have ever wondered “How can I fight?” this is a good opportunity to learn some new ideas. Experts from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia will be hosting discussions on different aspects of ‘campaign planning’ – how to plan a strategy to create change and convince decision makers to do what you think is needed.
We will post all the materials and ideas that the experts share here, and you are always welcome to contact us if you would like to know more or discuss.
On 30 and 31 July (Thursday and Friday) you are welcome to join us – either in our office in Bajram Curri or from home – for zoom calls with Petr Hlobil, the head of campaigning for CEE Bankwatch (bankwatch.org/newsletter). Here he will present the core ideas of how to plan a campaign for change, with lots of time to talk about your own ideas.
The activity is planned to focus especially on how to make sure people are included in participation for development planning in Tropoja, and how to push for more sustainable development here, although you are welcome to bring your own ideas and questions. We will learn how to analyze the existing situation, identify our allies and opponents, plan a communication strategy and more. We are working to empower the people to create meaningful impact and change in Tropoja!
