“For Valbona, For Albania” (Leviz Albania): 11,000CHF of emergency funds to support fighting hydropower developments in Valbona Valley National Park
“Rural Community Engagement: A Voice for Tropoja” (Visegrad Fund, Lead Partner People in Need Slovenia): 9000€ of a 25,000€ project to help local communities in Tropoja develop and present their own sustainable development plans
“Halting Hydropower Developments in the Mediterranean Basin (Albania)” (WWF): 20,000€ annually for 3 years (2017-2020) to lead WWF efforts in Albania to pursue legal recourse against hydropower development affecting protected areas (pending contract)
“Protected Areas for Nature and People (Albania)” (WWF): 75,000€ for 1.5 years to increase local benefits originating from presence of protected areas, including the creation of an advisory, decision-making local stakeholder council, providing education and training opportunities including assistance in pursing funding for improvement projects (pending contract)
