Prespa, Albania

The Prespa National Park (AlbanianParku Kombëtar i Prespës) is a national park in southeastern Albania, on the border triangle with Greece and the Republic of Macedonia. At approximately 277.5 km2 (107.1 sq mi), the park encompasses the Prespa Lake and Small Prespa Lake inside the territory of Albania. It encompasses high mountainsislandsfreshwater wetlandssalt marshesmeadowsreed beds and dense forests. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has listed the park as Category II.
