In response to a need expressed by people in Valbona, Dragobi, Dojan and Bajram Curri for an English Language course, this forum focusses on asking people for details on how they would like the course to function (frequency, age groups, type of English, schedule, duration, etc).  Based on what people want, TOKA will find and apply for funding, continuing to work with the people so that the project is a collaboration between citizens with TOKA as the facilitator.

The Community Forum takes place the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. The focus is to bring together members of as many communities from around Tropoja as possible, in order to facilitate the functioning of a strong “people’s voice.”   In the forum meetings people are welcome to share ideas, confront threats, explore opportunities and support each other on relevant issues.

Forums often have a “focus” issue, addressing some concern which was raised by community members:  the need for trainings, problems facing communities, or opportunities they would like to work together to seize.  Any stakeholder is also welcome and encouraged to attend.
